Newest Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 promo video places it featherweight

Samsung went at great lengths to make the Galaxy Tab 10.1 slightly lighter and thinner than the iPad 2, when it saw what Apple did with its second tablet generation.

The Wi-Fi version is a fitness maniac, with its 20.99 oz (595 g) of weight, slightly less than the Wi-Fi iPad 2, which seems to have been the goal all alomg, and which Apple claims is trying to copy Cupertino's tablet after the introduction in its lawsuit against Samsung.

The Koreans are nevertheless hard at work on promo videos and PR campaigns for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and the latest one is touting precisely how light this Android Honeycomb slate is.

We'd consider giving our tablet to a stranger so that our overcrowded elevator can take off, but that's a choice the guy in the video has to make - either that, or his coffee. It's tough.
