Ahh, Motorola. Not making many friends lately, I see. On top of having a very bad relationship with developers, they've also hurt their sales with their own loyal customers because of some of their stupid hardware and software decisions.
Sadly, the hardships from this company just keep coming. Today, Motorola announced the Photon 4G, which is obviously a 4G device. It runs on Sprint's network, too. Of course, that's not the bad part. The bad part is that, like every single Motorola phone to date, the bootloader is locked. That means that hacking the phone to do exactly what you want will be fairly difficult.
Motorola has told us that unlocked bootloaders on their devices will come . . . in 2012. I can't wait until then. Can you?
