Dalam ajang BlackBerry World 2011 RIM mengumumkan bahwa smartphone terbaru ini memiliki fitur canggih diantaranya prosesor 1.2 Ghz RAM 768 MB, kamera 5 megapiksel, Wifi dan GPS.
Blackbery Touch 9900 dipersenjatai prosesor 1.2 Ghz dan RAM 768 MB yang mampu memproses data dengan cepat meskipun banyak aplikasi yang dibuka pada saat bersamaan. Kemampuan kamera 5 MP mampu menghasilkan video dengan ukuran 720p. Yang lebih mengesanakan adalah adanya dual-band Wi-Fi - 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz dan 802.11 a/n 5 GHz. Harga Blackbery Touch 9900 diperkirakan sekitar 5-6 juta rupiah dan akan dirilis di pasar Amerika terlebih dahulu.
